Why Post Natal Yoga?
Pregnancy is followed by an even more deeper phase in the life of a women – “MOTHERHOOD”.
Approach this whole new chapter of your life with compassion for yourself as you enjoy seeing your baby grow and develop each day.
During early motherhood there will be many hormones fluctuating, making you very emotional and you might feel exhausted. Because of what your body has gone through during Pregnancy, Labor & Child birth and now with the need of having to take care of your baby, you might have a lacking of strength, energy and confidence.
After child birth a lot of woman often forget to take care of themselves. It is important for the mother to take care of herself to return to her normal health and continue to maintain her health. Also, remember, a happy mother equals a happy baby and also a happy family. When a woman takes care of herself also, she can give to her loved ones in many folds.
Yoga is a tool that you can use during Postpartum to help you nourish yourself and your newborn. Through the upcoming sessions, I will guide you with your rehabilitation with understanding to your current phase of life better and through a set of practices involving Practices and Yogasanas, Pranayama, Visualisation, Meditation & Affirmations, that will help you to rebuild your strength, energy and inner balance, relax better, balance your emotions and sooth your mind. You will also learn about following a healthy diet & conscious lifestyle choices, all of this by being compassion to yourself.
The practices will focus a lot on DR(Diastasis Recti) Care – reduce/close the abdominal muscles separation gap & tone and strengthen the abdominal muscles inside out and Restore Pelvic Floor Stability – helping to tone and strengthen the pelvic floor muscles and help with pelvic floor dysfunction. Two most common issues women epereince post child birth and as they age, which can steal a lot of joy from lives and interfere in doing day to day activities efficiently.
I want you to be the WOMAN and MOTHER you wish to be – full of life, joy, be able to run around and play with her children & grandchildren, chase her dreams, realise & live her dreams, climb of the ladder of success that she wants, break the glass ceiling & pave way for other women around her, inspire people with her vitality, enjoy physical intimacy with her partner without pains, live healthy and be able to do her day to days tasks effectively & efficiently.
And MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL: Love herself, Be Confident about herself and Nurture herself. AND SO MUCH MORE, pretty much everything you want for yourself.
