Pregnancy is a magical & empowering phase in the life of a woman. A phase to be celebrated. A phase in which you are creating a miracle within you. There are a lot of changes happening during this time, you are undergoing tremendous physical, mental and emotional changes. All of which can provide a deep joy and can also bring about fears and apprehension as this phase can also be overwhelming. Yoga is a tool that you can use during Pregnancy to help you nourish yourself and the life growing inside you. Through the upcoming sessions, I will guide you through a set of practices involving Yoga Asanas, Pranayama, Visualisation, Meditation and Affirmations, that will help you to focus on your energy levels, build strength and inner balance, relax better, balance your emotions, sooth your mind, practices that can be of help during labour and aid in better recovery after the birth of your baby. When practiced regularly, these tools will help you to feel great and allow you to experience a sense of fulfilment and joy as a mom-to-be.

About the teacher
Ramya Ramamurthy is an Internationally Certified Yoga Teacher and has a student base around the world, specially in USA, Europe and Asia. She is the founder of ‘Yogasta’,an abode for ‘Yoga practice, Yoga learning and Holistic well-being’ created by her, with an intent to make Yoga accessible to everyone through her in-person and online teachings. Ever since she began teaching yoga, she has taught and conducted in-person and online yoga classes, yoga workshops, online yoga programs and yoga retreats reaching out to more than 10,000 people. Her biggest asset in teaching Yoga is her ability to break down ‘Yogasanas, Pranayama and Meditation’ practices in a simple and clear manner, so that it can be accessible to all the students who practice with her, no matter at which level of practice they are at. For Ramya, yoga is not just about physical practice and so, she focuses deeply on connecting with breath and inner-self through movements and stillness. Her mission is to inspire people by sharing her knowledge and practice which will allow them to transform themselves and live a healthy life. Through her yoga classes, workshops, programs and retreats Ramya wants to make the holistic knowledge of yoga and its practices accessible to everyone. Her teachings include a combination of strength-based, mobility, flexibility, breathing practices, mindfulness practices and mind-body relaxation to allow one to experience the holistic benefits of yoga and its practices- not just physically but also mentally and emotionally.
